"This property was perfect for our stay in Gulf Shores. Great view from the fourth floor. The only problem we had was one night there was strong wind and it caused the trash chute to vibrate so loud that I had to sleep with my noise cancelling headphones on. It just affects the back bedroom that has a shared wall with the garbage chute. Otherwise it's a nice place to stay."

The outside handle on the sliding glass door fell off and maintenance responded in a timely manner and he was very personable. We did not use laundry, it was conveniently located. "I was in town for conference. The resort is very comfortable and the view was great from the balcony of the causeway. The only issue I had was the remotes of the TV did not sync up so I had to manually change the channel from the box in the living room and the TV in the bedroom had an issue watching regular cable. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again if available next year."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Plantation! We were there for less than a week and spent most of our time on the property either by the pool or on the beach. Pros: It was not very crowded when we went, parking was ample, and the property was very clean outside. Amenities in the room were great (dishwasher, tv access, balcony view of the sunrise, full size fridge). Cons: The listing mentioned “free parking” but it was not free and the bed was uncomfortable.
